Karin Hesselvik is a Swede based in Amsterdam with a heavy American accent.  Karin is a creative visionary, women’s health advocate and strategist with over 20 years experience shaping stories and experiences for global brands.  Karin believes in the power of connection and fueling the spark that happens when ideas, people and experiences come together to disrupt the status quo. 

As Karin entered perimenopause, she was suffering in silence, realizing how little she and the community around her knew.  Between late-night Google spirals on “early onset dementia” (hello, brain fog) and yo-yoing hormones, Karin’s frustration grew into a bigger calling to create a new kind of platform.  

Karin’s vision for MMEET is to empower, educate and connect women who are done with outdated narratives and ready for a more bold and playful storyline.  Karin fiercely believes in the power of community and in the special magic that happens when women gather as a collective force. With MMEET, Karin aims to flip the script on the patriarchal system and create a new space for women to step into their power. 

Part time community builder, full time ideator, Karin is on a mission to rebrand women’s health.  Beyond her work with MMEET, Karin is open to working with other purpose-driven startups and female-focused brands to craft iconic POVs, fresh stories and experiences that matter.
